SMS Opt-In & Messaging Policy

1. Program Description
GymText is an AI-powered fitness coaching service that delivers personalized workout plans and coaching directly to your phone via SMS text messages. When you sign up, you will receive:
- Daily personalized workout instructions
- AI coaching responses when you text back with questions
- Plan updates and progress-based adjustments
- Account and subscription notifications
2. How You Opt In
You opt in to receive SMS messages from GymText by completing our online sign-up process at gymtext.co. During sign-up, you provide your mobile phone number and explicitly consent to receive messages by checking the consent checkbox before submitting.
The consent checkbox states:
"By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated fitness and workout text messages from GymText at the mobile number provided. You will receive daily workout messages. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties. Consent is not required to make a purchase."
You must also agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before completing sign-up. SMS consent is optional and is not required to make a purchase; if you do not opt in to SMS, your workouts remain available in your GymText web profile.
Separate from SMS consent, we use optional analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, when you consent through our Privacy choices control. We do not send SMS message content, phone numbers, or fitness profiles to those tools.

3. Opt-In Confirmation
After you sign up, you will receive an initial welcome message confirming your enrollment in the GymText program. This message includes instructions on how to opt out and a reminder that message and data rates may apply.

4. Sample Messages
Below is an example of the daily workout messages you will receive. Each message includes your personalized workout instructions for the day, tailored to your fitness goals and training plan.

5. Message Frequency
You will receive approximately 1–3 messages per day, including your daily workout and any coaching responses when you text back. Message frequency may vary based on your interactions with the service and your training schedule.
6. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. GymText does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
7. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of GymText SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:
- Text STOP to any message you receive from us
- Toggle consent off on your GymText profile page
- Contact us if you also want to cancel your subscription
- Contact us at support@gymtext.co
You will receive a confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request, and no further workout messages will be sent.
7a. Consent Toggle (GymText Profile)
Your GymText profile page includes a Consent checkbox that controls whether you receive text messages from GymText. Unchecking this box stops all workout messages. You can check it again at any time to resume receiving messages.


7b. Cancel Subscription
You can also cancel your subscription by contacting support. When you cancel:
- You will receive an SMS confirmation that your subscription has been cancelled
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- Support will confirm the cancellation status and any remaining access for the current billing period
7c. How to Re-subscribe
If you change your mind, you can re-subscribe at any time using any of the following methods:
- Text START to the GymText number
- Re-enable the Consent checkbox on your GymText profile page
- Sign up again at gymtext.co
You will receive a confirmation message and your service will resume.

9. Privacy & Data Sharing
Your mobile phone number and personal information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. We only use your information to deliver the GymText service as described. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Consent Is Not a Condition of Purchase
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. If you do not opt in to SMS, GymText will still make your workouts available in your web profile.
11. Supported Carriers
GymText is compatible with most major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
